The Woodlands, TX – December 31, 2025 – Strata Expanse, together with its technology partners Kirell Inc, Millenium Reign Energy LLC, and Renewable Innovations Inc., is pleased to announce the completion of Phase I of their joint research and development initiatives.

This joint R&D cohort is one of three to successfully complete Phase I. With this first public announcement, we’re highlighting the immediate value that hydrogen and CCUS bring to enabling dispersed compute powered by natural gas and other C&G technologies.

In the coming weeks, Strata Expanse will share two additional announcements focused on other critical aspects of data center operations—specifically geothermal cooling and super‑capacitor energy storage.

This initial phase, focused on confirming technical and economic feasibility, establishing executable timelines, and developing high-level system designs, establishes a clear pathway toward the commercialization of a portfolio of practical innovations dedicated to the deployment and operation of distributed AI infrastructure.

A key competitive advantage of this collaboration lies in Strata Expanse’s ability to rapidly construct and deploy infrastructure while seamlessly embedding its technology partners directly into ongoing operations. As a result, hands-on testing, early utilization, and iterative refinement of the technologies developed can begin immediately, significantly reducing the timeline from concept to potential commercial deployment.

Looking ahead, Strata Expanse and its partners anticipate building a robust portfolio of intellectual property that will reinforce long-term differentiation and provide a durable advantage over traditional approaches to infrastructure development.

Looking ahead to Phase II, commencing in 2026, Strata Expanse and its partners will transition from feasibility and planning into full-scale development, field validation, and prototyping for commercialization. ​​​Phase II will also emphasize the formalization and expansion of their intellectual property portfolio. Sustainability, reliability, and community impact will remain core design principles throughout Phase II, with the partnership continuing to pursue solutions that balance performance and efficiency with responsible energy use, local engagement, and environmental stewardship.
